yoga with the Sylph

OM Yogis!

All love to you today. 💙

Welcome to this practice inspired by the Sylphs. Today we work with the Air Element with a voice based practice of Mantra Meditation and Gentle movement.

A good practice to Express / Elevate / soothe

Please set a sacred space.

These practices all stand alone. They also unite beautifully.

Practice the Antar Naad Meditation
Followed by 'Throat blossoms' Meditation.
Suitable for beginners

Sylph 2

'The Seven Sounds of Love'
Practice this journey of singing and moving through love and the Chakras.
Props : None, this exercise is done standing.
Suitable for beginners

Sylph 3

Mantra Practice ; OM Tara tutare ture so ham.
Heart Meditation.
Suitable for beginners

Guardian Angel Meditation
You can do this to finish in Savasana.
This is a 'child of light' Meditation by Alexis Cartwright.
I include this because Sylphs are often mistaken for Angels and that's as good an excuse as I need!
Suitable for beginners

May this practice lighten and enlighten 🙏

Special thanks to,
Chloe Goodchild
Tias Little
Alexis Cartwright
Nirinjan Kaur
And the Sylphs!

Please Note -
These Practices are recorded as rough drafts!
They are imperfect and need polishing... But I love them and feel they are worth a share!
Most of the asana practices on this blog are intended for the progression of an established practice of yoga. Over time I will try to add more stuff that is suitable for beginners. This will be clearly labelled as Suitable for beginners.
Its worth revisiting this blog if you are interested in this, as I will be adding more beginners practices to each session as time goes by.

Namaste beautiful's,

Love Julie.
